I have the same kind of thing, a sophisticated new machine with an
adjustable humidifier.

Right, and my husband is always investigating new masks. Over the years,
the machines have gotten smaller and unbelievably quiet. He has one with a
humidifier that he can adjust, and really likes that.

He hasn't brought it up to the doctor yet. He plans to do it end of this
month. I am quite aware of how a sleep study and the mask work though Judy.
My ex husband had very bad sleep apnea and the mask has saved his life. It
takes a while to get used to but over time it really helps. Thankfully there
are many mask options than there used to be and the machines are some much
smaller. They are so portable you can fly on an airplane with them. Unlike a
lot of things these days, every insurance company covers it.
