[Blindtlk] Any experience with accessibility of the Roomba iRobot vacuum cleaner?

Has anyone on this list purchased or worked with the Roomba iRobot cleaners?
They sound like very cool machines, and they come highly recommended;
however, I'm leery about getting one until I hear about its accessibility.
How much vision does one need to use and take advantage of its features?

 

If anyone's worked with one of these, I'd love to hear your experiences.
