Thank you Brinda: I finally got enough information out of the tech people to do just that. The first problem I had was trying to get them to understand what blind, or can't see, or my eyes don't work ment. The third person could speak English well enough to understand and give me the instructions.
Now I would like to ask, is their a talking remote for Direct tv which can be purchased?

How long ago did you get your current equipment? If it has been in the last year and a half, you already have the accessible equipment. All you have to do is activate it.
