Jessie, thanks for clarifying. Thanks everyone else. I was making note
of apps people found helpful for when I get my iPhone. What I really
wanted to know is were folks still finding them useful with all the
hype surrounding kNFB and Be My Eyes! I'll deal with the fee structure
later if there is one for whatever app.
Wow! Some of you are coming across rather forceful and hostile
regarding your choices. I don't see the need for it! I was just posing
a question regarding whether folks found these useful since I know
longer hear anything and the above are taking center stage. Also some
of them all do similar tasks so I didn't want many many duplicates! I
do not have an iPhone yet so can not reciprocate answers to your
questions! Yall relax! and be cool! As the saying goes you can't have
too many chiefs and not enough Indians! Otherwise, it is war war war
all of the time! Guys I'm not dangerous, nor a threat!

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and
tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will
have been all of these.
