Cindy, I worked in a medium security adult prison for a couple of years a long time ago. I cannot answer your question about the post in which you are interested, but I did reply to it off list per request. Let me know what I can do to help.

                Someone on this list wanted to do an internship at a prison but was being denied on account of blindness. Has it ever been resolved? I ask this question because I want to be a volunteer at the women's correctional facility here, and I will probably be denied mainly because I couldn't see what people were doing in groups I might administer and because if something happened I might not be safe. I could be a visitor, but I could be nothing more.
