[Blindtlk] Question about jury duty selection

It is random, as previously posted. I have never been called. Since I was involved in the push to allow blind individuals to serve on juries, I have a bias toward serving. I do hope it is catching.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Question about jury duty selection

Hi all,

So I just saw a thread on the NABS list regarding jury duty and accommodations. That thread has honestly got me wondering, because I'm 20 years old and haven't been called yet. Does anyone know what are the factors in determining who is selected for jury duty? Though I guess being disabled doesn't exempt you from it.

I hope to get an answer to this question soon.

Thanks,

Sami
