Hello Sandra,
You can buy a serial to usb converter quite cheaply on Amazon, or other
similar online stores like Fry's. This will enable you to connect your two
devices.
Warmly,
Heather

Dave and All:
I never heard that a USB cable was ever made to use with the Braille 'n
Speak. If there is such a cable out there somewhere I would love to hear
about it too. I used to transfer files from the Braille 'n Speak to the
serial port on my desktop computer. Unfortunately it recently died so now I
only have my laptop which only has USB ports.

Dave
My braille and speak is about to die and I cannot
save it without a USB cable to transfer my
files. I do not have the money to replace it
with a new note taker so please help me if you can.
