Places always need tutors. Big brothers/sisters and just someone to listen to a kid practice their reading. Some people I know have taught English as a second language. Through my Chamber of Commerce I was a mentor for a  kindergardener – – kind of like Junior achievement but with Elementry school urban minority kids. The only reason I’m not doing it is because I moved out of the community. After school programs always looking for people with your skills too. What did you teach and what age?
