Beside Steve Ackinson I’m sure there are others who are more newly blind and then some of us have been through things a while. Want to share a hobby you have and let others know if there’s a group on the NFB list serves four people interested?

I like to do crafts but I haven’t gotten back into the mode. I’m still trying to learn the day but it hasn’t gone very well. I know that there’s a crafters corner. Somehow they teach people how to do things via phone which is really cool. I’m hoping to also get into pottery someday. I tried to but in college but it was for elementary school teachers and it wasn’t very involved.

Right now I am working on getting my amateur radio license. Judy Jones I know is a ham radio operator. I’m thinking this might work with my social work background to separate me from the usual candidates. You never know when those communication skills come in handy these days.
