I know that Hadley has a course in container gardening, and does some webinars in the area as well.

To answer your questions:
1. Currently I don't live in a place that allows me to have to have an outdoor work area.
2. I am more interested in constructing useful things rather than making art.
3. I am also learning (very slowly) to cook and we are hoping to brew at some point--that's the closest thing to "art" I would be doing. I'd like to garden, but that isn't a live option yet.
Thankfully (unfortunately?) I have sighted people to help me out, but it can be a challenge to figure out adapting their methods for me.
