Even though I'm not an SSI beneficiary, I really hope we will fight for the 
passage of this law.  I could stick in my political views about this, but I 
guess I'll be nice.  This also might make it easier for blind and disabled 
beneficiaries to seek and accept employment.  Let's hope for passage.

Hi all!
I hope this change actually becomes law! I’m a beneficiary myself. I can 
attest to how outdated and wacked out that system is now. I’m sertain that 
if these changes become part of the law, that beneficiaries will experience 
a big increase in freedom, particularly regarding things like getting 
married and the like. I have an awesome boy friend and right now, I can’t 
just get married to him, even though we have been together for 8 years, al 
because of that compleetly wacked out and outdated penelty that they hold. I 
know that I’m not the only one in this boat. Mind you, that’s not counting 
the other limitations that we currently are stuck with under the current 
system. The day these changes become law will be a celebratory Holliday in 
the houses of us benefitiaries. Honestly, this totally needs to be on the 
NFB’s legislative action list to insure that these changes become part of 
the law.
