Hi all!
Yes, I agree with you on the changes allowing for better job oppertunities as well. Honestly, I think the job oppertunities that are out there are really not very great. I think part of it is the pigen hole that we get stuck under with the current system and the othe3r part is discrimination against blindness in general. I’m in school because of the better odds of getting a job, even though it’s not a garenteed to be one in your educational field. Mind you, not counting the fields where a college degree is required. In any case, I have seen blind people go a lot farther with a college degree than without one.

Thank you for reading this email! Also, please note that I have eighth grade spelling. I'm well known for spelling mistakes. Ironicly, writing is one of my gifts.
Blessed Be!

> I hope this change actually becomes law! I’m a beneficiary myself. I can attest to how outdated and wacked out that system is now. I’m sertain that if these changes become part of the law, that beneficiaries will experience a big increase in freedom, particularly regarding things like getting married and the like. I have an awesome boy friend and right now, I can’t just get married to him, even though we have been together for 8 years, al because of that compleetly wacked out and outdated penelty that they hold. I know that I’m not the only one in this boat. Mind you, that’s not counting the other limitations that we currently are stuck with under the current system. The day these changes become law will be a celebratory Holliday in the houses of us benefitiaries. Honestly, this totally needs to be on the NFB’s legislative action list to insure that these changes become part of the law.
