A suggestion that may be helpful.
When you get any of these, put them on a scale and weigh them and document
that weight and the product and date.
When you get any of these items cleaned and they return dry and ready to
go on the bed, don't do that.  First weigh them and document their
weights.  Each time these go through washing machines and dryers they
loose some of their weight and warming capacity.
When the loss gets down to 66% of their original weights it's probably
time to recycle them and buy new.  If you don't do this, you'll not keep
track of how well these can work and won't know when to recycle and
replace.
