[BlindTlk] help for verizon fios

I don't get many randon channels, but I can't channel surf, or press buttons 
for more than one channel after another.  I have to either turn it off and 
back on, or hit the button opposite the off/on button, and listen to it tell 
me to press any key to watch Verizon Fios.  Then, I can change the channels. 
A lot of people seem to be having this problem, and all the Verizon people 
tell them is that they have to buy a new television, which is crap!  Pam.

One thing I have discovered that cuts down on the random channels is to
use key 47 bottom right key on remote to key in okay once a channel number
is keyed in.  Apparently key 8 which is an okay button isn't intended to
help users change channels.
