[BlindTlk] Home Owner's Association complaining about video doorbell

I know about hacking believe me. My daughter won't own any Alexa devices,
though they did own a baby monitor. I don't think it did video but I have
heard of people hacking into those and actually speaking to the baby.
I am working with the Home Owner's Association to hopefully solve this
problem. Thank you.

The same can be said about the Windows operating system, Siri, Android and
probably just about every other device. I do see your point, though, but the
issue is that the condo owner may not have known this and a case should be
made that this doorbell is a reasonable accommodation for someone who is not
able to see.

Language in the condo docs stating something like nothing may be attached to
any outside surface of the condo without prior arrangement. If that's the
case that certainly covers video doorbells. Those ring devices have their
own security problems having already been hacked.
