[BlindTlk] Keeping Gmail in Basic Standard Html View

I am so annoyed right now. How do I keep Gmail from switching back to
Standard view? I am using NVDA and the button you have to click on for
Basic HTML View does not stay at the top of the page. At one time I
just set it and forgot it! Now for some reason it is not sticking. Is
there some other seetting I need to change to achieve this?
