Windows training for sighted people? Most of the ones I know just buy the
computer, turn it on, and go for it, and they think they know what they are
doing because they can point and click. You ask them a question, and they
say "What? Huh?" Pam.

I don't do windows any longer, 18 years with it was 18 years too many.
I'm using Linux and have been since 2013 and loving it! You know how bad
windows training is for sighted people? It's so bad people don't learn
how to handle a missing or dead battery on the motherboard of a computer
and aren't familiar with the cmos interface once that comes up.
Admittedly it's an infrequent event about every five years or so but can
be pretty basic to handle when it happens. Another deficiency is service
pack conflicts that happen during windows updates. Where I'm at since we
had noone on the staff who knew how to clear the error, a laptop got
thrown out.
