Judy,

I am not sure what that window is.  However, can you play any other M4A files?  I had a similar problem on my computer the first time I tried playing an M4A file.  I had to download something to do it.  I believe I had to download the QuickTime player, although after I did that, someone had another way to play them.  I believe if you have iTunes that you can play them as well.  Knowing the file type is important.

Also, knowing the application to which the window you are seeing belongs would be helpful.  If you are using JAWS, what does Insert and T give you for a window title?  Is this a newer computer that might be running Groove Music as a default?  Somebody on Electronics-Talk might have better answers than I seem to have.

I wonder if maybe you were muted when you were recording? If not I am freshly out of ideas. I will highly suggest subscribing to the zoom users group and maybe somebody might be able to troubleshoot this problem with you.
