[BlindTlk] Please help with advice on accessing my Zoom recordings.

Hi, Steve,

With playing around, I finally got to my recordings, but had to open them through the context menus, yay, not sure what the problem was before.

That window-thing I described, I found out I can close it after the recording is converted.

Next, I tried to screen share a Youtube video, and actually, when I listened to the recording, when I started the screen share with alt-R, I could hear the Youtube in the background, but when I actually selected to share Youtube, sound quit in the recording, although the video was still playing in real time.

Not sure what was going on with that.

I love Winamp, but also really like VLC as well.  I  just default to Winamp, as I am so used to it.

With both, I left the Playback box checked.

I am not sure what that window is.  However, can you play any other M4A files?  I had a similar problem on my computer the first time I tried playing an M4A file.  I had to download something to do it.  I believe I had to download the QuickTime player, although after I did that, someone had another way to play them.  I believe if you have iTunes that you can play them as well.  Knowing the file type is important.

Also, knowing the application to which the window you are seeing belongs would be helpful.  If you are using JAWS, what does Insert and T give you for a window title?  Is this a newer computer that might be running Groove Music as a default?  Somebody on Electronics-Talk might have better answers than I seem to have.

I wonder if maybe you were muted when you were recording? If not I am freshly out of ideas. I will highly suggest subscribing to the zoom users group and maybe somebody might be able to troubleshoot this problem with you.
