Use a braille display as much as you can. Usually you can drive a braille display while the speech is turned off.

Subject: [BlindTlk] Zoom screen sharing without screen reader interference?

Hi, All,

This is my next question.

My voice comes through much better on a call when using headphones, but when hosting and wanting to screen share, I noticed from the test recording that my speech is coming through as well, once the screen starts to share.

The only thing I can think of is to turn off speech, start the share, and navigate nowhere else until I’m ready to stop the share, then turn speech back on again.

Is there an easier way?

Thanks.

Judy
