[BlindTlk] Using a walker?

I didn't pay much attention, I just remember passing by an individual with a
cane, and a walker, or something that helped them walk.

Maybe it was something slightly different than a walker.
I've personally used a crutch in one hand, and a cane in the other with my
foot was damaged.

Please give a little more detail if you can.

I have not seen nor found a one-handed walker.

Do you know how these folks actually did what they did?

Judy

I have actually seen folks use a one handed walker, or crutch or some such
with a cane in the othe rhand.

I've used a one handed crutch with a cane in the other hand.
The walker in two hands can sort of double as a cane.

The average walker I've seen does take two hands.

I've used walkers in the past. Usually using a white cane with them is
impractical since humans don't come with three hands. What may work better
for someone with balance issues is a flying suit that has enough helium
inside it to get to neutral buoyancy. I don't know if this can help, but
upwalker.com has walkers that are supposed to have a different design and
since I've never used one of these I don't know if a hand is freed up to use
a white cane. For people with balance issues and I have a few myself
walkers and crutches are considered unsafe and those people get a sled or
wheelchair for their own safety.
