HI, this is in response to the individual who was askinga bout starting a buisness. I would like to make a few recommendations as someone who is also in the process of starting abusiness for my knitting.
1) Talk to Vocational REhabilityation! They may hve suggestions on resources, organization, and sources of finances. If you can include it in your IPE, also, they can offer support for education in business (community college, workshops, or even a degree in business management or similar) and assist with up to $10,000 in start-up costs depending on the business plan and needs.
Second, most areas have a small business center and their advice and education can be invaluable. If you do a quick internet search for your county + small business center, you should be able to find your local one. 
FInally, there are a number of great business-related organizations out there. Search online, especially in social media, for groups around entrepreneurship and small businesses, and check out Business Network International (BNI). Many places have a chapter and the networking of this organization can also be invaluable for a new business.
