You're probably familiar with Handihams. They are a non-profit group out of
Minnesota. They can be reached at:
http://handihams.org.
The director is a blind woman named Lucinda Moody.
For annual dues, Possibly $15.00 per year, you can get access to all of the
training information on their website. They offer training classes
regularly.
Modern radios, with transistor finals, need little tuning, so that is not
the problem it used to be with vacuum tube finals. They have information on
accessible equipment, or how to do work arounds to make radios workable by
the blind.
