Grins. I'm laughing my a** off now.
My mother-in-law said that one ChristmasEve, her dad told them he was
going out hunting. Shortly thereafter, they heard a bang, and then Pops
came running back saying he'd shot Santa.

My boys would usually go to bed about the time the news would show the
tracking picture of Santa. One year I walked in a few minutes later and
told them that there had been an awful mixup and that the Air Force had
shot Santa down. I know, I'm hoin' to hell for that.

Yes, you can! In fact, you can even call in to NORAD and speak to
someone and find out exactly where Santa is at any given moment during
Christmas Eve/Christmas. I know because I used to work up there and
volunteer for it every year. :) It was always fun to get the little
kids calling in and make their nights when you told them where Santa was
delivering toys right then!
