[blparent] Question about adopting

Actually the lack of confidence thing is probably more to the truth though
it's not confidence in my abilities that concerns me it's my lack of
confidence in my ability to convey that to adoption services. I live it New
Brunswick Canada where the only root you have available is through social
services so I have no choice as to who to work with. There are no agencies.
Borrowing an infant would be great except for the fact that they are not
concerned about a baby but, rather a toddler who can get into things. It's
quite funny in a way because the age group they are so concerned about is
the age group that I have the most experience with. I have looked after
children all my life since I was 12 years old. Mostly ages 1-5. I took an
early childhood course in high school but, that was years ago. I even took
care of an autistic child for a few years every day. I have stellar
references and one of them is the mother of the autistic child. So it boils
down to my ability is not the problem, explaining that it is not a problem
is. Yeah confidence.
