I agree with those ideas.  You could also take her to a movie or a musical. 
Make it a memory for her to remember.  Maybe go get your nails done 
together.  Gab really loves things like that.  A trip to the mall for window 
shopping or a lunch together or a gift certificate to a book store. The gift 
doesn't have to be a material object. V
