Jennifer,
I have a G5 with the temp setting.  I use it every day and love it very much.  Also, my 12 year old son uses it without a problem and I am now teaching my 9 year old son how to use it as well.  I love that it has the removable plates and they are easy to place on the grill and also clean.  I would recommend this grill I have had mine for two years now and love having it around.  The plates are easy to tell how they go on and I have no problems telling them apart.
