[blparent] wow kindergarten has changed!

Am I the only one finding this thread hilarious? 
Both Veronica's and Elizabeth's posts had spelling errors, with
Elizabeth's being the greatest hit. Elizabeth won this award both for
the sheer number of mistakes, but also correctly using these mistakes
while conveying the message that "some parents want the schools to do
their job".
Thank you both for the entertainment.

I've also noticed that private schools have much higher expectations
than public schools.  Here in NM, they wanted the kids to know their
colors, their alphabet, and how to spell their name.  But my friend
child went to a private school and her child had to know the same stuff
as the public plus how to write their names and what the long and short
sounds were of each letter and of course, both private and public
expected the kids to know their nembers 1 to 10. V
