I'm just saying that if someone called me and said that my daughter had 
insulted her friend or her parents, I woldn't bury my head in the sand and 
hope it passes.  What she said to your daughter was quite harsh, and needs 
to be dealth with accofdingly.  Perhaps she doesn't know much if anyting 
about boindness, but let's deal with the bad behavior first, then deal with 
the education.
