[blparent] double strollers? (child locators)

Hi. I don't know anything about double strollers, but I did buy a child
locator from Amazon for about thirty dollars. There were locators from
Brickhouse that were much more expensive, but the reviews on the site were
mixed about them, and the reviews form the "Mommy, Where Am I" locator that
I bought were much better.

The part of the locator that stays with the child is shaped like a teddy
bear, and it has a clip so it can be fastened to a shoe or a piece of
clothing. What I've done is fasten it inside the backpack of the stuffed
animal harness that Sarah wears. The other part of the locator is on a
keychain, and it stays with the parent. I've clipped it to the key holder
inside my purse. If I press a button on the keychain part of the locator,
an alarm will beep inside the teddy bear part that Sarah is wearing. If I
press the button again, the alarm will beep much more loudly.

I don't suggest the child locator as a substitute for supervision, or as a
substitute for a stroller or a harness, but it does give me a little piece
of mind that if my baby girl does manage to wander away from me--and she's
quick, you better believe it--I have at least some chance of figuring out
where she is in very short order.
