The other option is to order from Seedlings Braille Books for Children.
They have a wide variety, and they try to keep costs as low as possible.
I'm thinking some of the books he might be interested in would be available
in Braille only, so he could get the print book and follow along with you.
You could even do something like I read a page, you read a page. Seedlings
website is
http://www.seedlings.org
I think.

Ronda,

Your local library for the blind will have twin vision books that you could
borrow. The same NLS library that sends talking books and such. This may
be a good solution for you if you're not sure whether Deven will want to
read the books. I can understand not wanting to spend money on stuff that
he may not read. It's unfortunate that
Braille books cost so much more than regular print ones. Anyway, you could
call up your local library and ask what they have. They may not have
anything Deven will be interested in, but you could at least call and check
out what they have.

HTH,
Allison
