I really wouldn't worry about it - I'd just keep reintroducing it to her 
every couple of weeks. She'll play with it when she's ready. I think most 
kids prefer playing with non-toy items at this age, because they want to 
immitate us. Elise has tons of toys, and she still loves to play with empty 
plastic waterbottles, cardboard boxes, and her daddy's sunglasses and hats.
