[blparent] Ultrasound and Heartbeat

Hello List,
 
As I was reading Tammy's post about how much her baby weighs now, and that
her doctor doesn't want her to go past her due date, I thought of a few
questions.
 
Approximately do you hear the heartbeat?  When do you have you first
ultrasound?
 
I guess it may depend on your doctor, but how long will a doctor normally
weight after your due date passes, but they discuss inducing you?
