Hi,
The simple answer is no! I didn't take any aditional steps to do with my
blindness when dealing with hospitals, doctors etc. I do let the staff know
that I'm blind and I sometimes have them write it on my chart so people will
know to identify themselves when entering my room, but that's about the
extent of it.
