My friend Wendy's mom always tells us a story about when the kids were 
little and Wendy wanted brownies so her mom said just follow the directions 
and when you are done mixing I will come put it in the oven.  So a few 
minutes later Wendy came out of the kitchen with batter up to her elbow. 
she said, it said mix by hand. V
