[blparent] gifts

My daughter started her little people collection at about 8 months old. at
first I would sit with her and talk to her about them and make different
noises. Like if they were animals I would try to imitate the noise of that
particular animal, hence a cow goes moo. Then as she got older about a year
old she didn't want mommy to play with her anymore and started imitating the
sounds that I was making with them and making up her own stories and using
her imagination to create scenarios. She is 5 now and well she has a great
imagination and is very creative and comes up with new things for her little
people to do. She now even shows her brother about them and shares her
imagination and creativity to him.
