I think its OK to punish a child when behavior is defiant.  I should have been clear.  I was saying we give her a time out when she makes a comment about how we can’t do something because we’re blind because she is being disrespectful to an adult by avoiding what needs to be done at the time.  Her argument is just a tactic to procrastinate.  She has lots of time to share her opinion, but I don’t tolerate sassy children and call it freedom of speech.  If I mouthed off to a boss I would lose my job.

You can cook, bake, clean, vacuum, dust, walk, run, play baseball, shoot hoops.
