[blparent] Help

I have a child who has done stuff like that since he was very young, Both of us are blind (my husband has some vision but not much), and he is just sneaky by nature. I usually know better though when he lies to me, and we have told him over and over that it's the lie that gets him in trouble. Sometimes he isn't really even doing anything wrong, he just doesn't tell the truth when we ask what he's doing. Some children will continue this behavior, no matter how much they are punished for it, but being consistent has slowed the behavior quite a bit. He's the one who makes me nervous when he gets on the computer and things like that. He just has a rebellious side to him. I'm wondering what his baby sister will be like as she gets older. At 19 months she is already sneaky. She doesn't really understand yet that we don't see her, she acts like a normal sneaky toddler.
I have made my son stay with me instead of giving him freedom, and that drives him crazy. I told him once that maybe I would make him spray off his sister's poopy diapers if he mouthed off to me again, just to get his reaction. I didn't get any more back talk for that day. lol
  Kids, you gotta love 'em.

I can only remember one time when my husband came into the living room and
Gab was promptly standing on our glass coffee table . I had just asked her
what she was doing and she replied, sitting on the couch. Boy did mommy get
mad and as far as we know, she has never done it again. V

Even with my thirteen-year-old stepson, I can often hear what he is doing
before his dad notices it by sight. I also tend to pay more attention to
what the baby is doing, and will say to a sighted person, "Be careful.
She's going to get into your purse," or whatever, before it happens. I'm
not saying I'm perfect, or that my stepson or my little girl will never pull

a fast one on me, but it's interesting to me that the two times my baby has
fallen and gotten a scratch on her face, she's been under the watch of
  someone with working eyes.
