Hi,

My husband has two grown kids who's mother is blind. When he was living
eith her they had people calling cps for everything from them spiling milk
to her not managing her time effectively and him forgetting the diaper bag
at home. Interesting enough, he told me that when he lived with his next
partner who happened to be sighted they never got investigated by cps for
any reason. He's isn't the only blind parent I've heard this from, so
apparently it does matter if you have one partnet with sight and one
without. I guess they figure your sighted partner will be like your worker
who will do things when you fall short because of course, you can't
possiblly be a great parent when you're blind! Lucky for me I have had
pretty good experiences with cps. If you cooperate with them they generally
won't bother you too much unless you get those social workers who have a
chip on their shoulder and want to save the world one child at a time.
smile

Tammy
