[blparent] Carrying a baby while out and about

I use a wrap or front carrier when taking the bus, but I use my sit 'n stroll (stroller/car seat combo) for car trips.  It pulls easily behind me with one hand so I can still use my cane.

  I personally only used the carry around car seat that locked right on top of
  my stroller.  Out of the car onto the stroller.  Then when Gab was bigger, I
  just carried her.  I would not recommend this, it really makes your back
  hurt. V

  Hi there everyone, I received a sling as a baby shower gift and was
  wondering how many people used them when going out? Since we've only gone to
  Kloei's doc appointments mostly she's been in her car seat and I've had help
  carrying it. I haven't mastered carrying her seat and using my cane quite
  yet. What are some methods or items you used to carry your baby and using a
  cane or guide dog?
