thanks, this is exactly what the school counselor said. Draw pictures and
tell happy stories. During dinner this evening my husband, Gab and I played
a happy word game. Something that makes you happy. She has been clutching
her chest all day, as I kept her home after her Dr appointment. Maybe
after a good nights sleep, she will feel good. Tomorrow she reads to a
kindergartener and really looks forward to it. Thursday she will meet a
group of kids all experiencing the same thing. V

Hi, Veronica. I'm just shooting in the dark, but I know sometimes emotions
will manifest themselves in physical ways, especially if someone doesn't
feel okay to be having those emotions. Maybe you could tell your daughter
that it's all right for her to be sad about the loss of her grandmother, and
it's helpful to cry or express that sadness with her dolls or by drawing
pictures or in other creative ways. Maybe that would help.
