The reason I would never buy one from a thrift store is because there are so
many recalls.  Also here in NM, most thrift stores do not take items like
that. V

You could probably check at a thrift store or something.  However, used 
cribs aren't recommended, since things can be missing and stuff like that. 
It would have ben a good idea ot put one on lay away at K-Mart or something 
like that.
