i'm simply writing to discus my issue with the group...

I thought this group was to share parenting advice, wows, etc.
i have met some good people, but \i also met people that think they know
everything.

i'm tired of people comparing my child to there child... simply because
children are like apples, and oranges, 1 maybe be cognativly developed,
1 may not be... what ever the case is, all are different.

i posted earlier, to shaire my sons wows... and some one came to me
saying how they didn't believe that my son can comprehend, nor
understand anything i said he could.... when I darn well know my child.
i don't have to lie about his development, nor do i have to stretch the
truth, to what he can, or can't do... Just like you, i know my childs
potintial, no-one does.... know one knows him like his parents, teacher,
or family.

My son has always been advanced in many things.
Rolling over at 2 weeks from tummy, to back, sitting at 2 months,
crawling at 3 months, to walking holding on to objects at 4 closer to 5
months, had a mouth full of teeth at 4 months... nursing him was great
lol... NOT! ... but he needed that nutrition, and asw a mommy, it was my
job to provide him with it.
corban was 6 close to seven months when he took his for leap of faith,
let go of the coffee table, and holled tail... hasn't been still since
then lol.
also at nine months, he was able to use simple 2 word sintences like Me
mommy, or me bye bye... one word at 8 months his favorte STOP, and NO...
he would also sign what he could not say... I did sing language from day
1, many criticized me for it... but it made a difference in my house
hold... he has always been a demanding little bug.
At 10 months, we started potty training... daytime went well, we still
struggled with night time for a while, he caught on the day time potty
training by 11 1/2 months, and his 1st birthday, he was in underware.
He started showing intrest in night time potty training at 14 1/2
months... and has it downpacked... with a few accidents due to daddy
giving in, and giving him a cippy at night... but he hates to be wet.
i was looking for cloth pullups simply because he doesn't want to ware a
diaper... he says its for babies, and thanks to several of you, we found
them.
we also used the your baby can read system since day 1... Its a great
program... and works well with consistancy... and he absolutely loved it!
Once I get everything together, we will pass it on to another lucky child.
so, at 2, we had him tested, so we could send him to christian school,
and get him in a learning center at lease twice a week, because he's a
Mommy's boy, and i don't want to hinder his social development.
we found out allot...
He knows all 26 letters, how to write them, and can clearly pronounce
them, knows all his numbers to 10, we'tre working on 11-20, when he
wants to... i believe in learinging threw play... and he loves it!
He knows number-letters in english, wich is his main language, and
spanish... I'm wanting to teacvh him German, but I think I'll wait...
because his brain is like a spunge, I want to teach him what he needs to
know.... adding fun to it.
He's in the stage of wanting to know what, and why everything happens...
we don't pussy-foot arround it, we tell him in a way that a child needs
it in.
He asked me what Viagra was the other day, and I told him... grandma is
letting you watch too much unsincered television, you aren't old
enough.... he pouted for a while, but he got over it.
Yes, I studied child development, I have an associates degree in Child
development, going for my PHd in Child Psycology... so, it amazes me,
when people say how they studied the subject, there's no-way he is that
advanced.... it also annoyes me, because they compare him to there
child... and all children are different.
Yes, I was amazed on how he has developed, and I'm sstill amazed
watching him and what he does... and each day, he learns something new
and different... tha wows me!
Like, the man on the street.... After he,and i had that convo, I had to
pinch myself... its amazing how kids watch you, and mimic what you
do.... also, how much childrens chursh is helping him... we never put
him in the nursery.... we always had him in adults church, with his kids
bible... now, that's his favorite book...
each day, is a new challenge... because he thinks he knows more than
mommy, but that's ok...
as I email this now, he is sitting at the table writing.... and showing
his father how to spell his name... kids lol :p
it makes me a proud MOMMY!...
Many have asked me, how he got so smart... I go i donno.... The grace Of
God I rechon.
That's honestly the only thing i can say... because i'm still amazed.
His words are clear, his spech is vary clear, and he understands more
than I want him to...
He likes to pretend he's cooking, or cleaning, or loves to help daddy
fix things.... it scares me when daddy allows him to help with things
that won't hurt himm... i guess, because I always get the worse in my head.
so, before people tell me what my child can, or can't do... i think it
is respectful for them to get to know me, and meet my little dude... his
IQ was 180, I'v been told he was gifted... i tell people, don't brag, I
don't want him to get a big head.... I thank them as well.

thanks for reading.
