I'll add my two cents to this briefly by saying Joy's withdrawal from the 
list is exactly what one would expect. None of this spanking stuff, not to 
mention all of the other foul language and all, has anything to do with 
blindness or blind parenting. Secondly, I thought that subject lines reading 
"no subject" were not to be posted; I delete them outright. I will say 
unequivocally that the only reason I stay on this list is because I teach 
our Hadley parenting courses and want to know what my students might see if 
they subscribe as I recommend this list to them all the time.
