Sometimes you can get the drops that come in individual applications, only
one drop per container. Although, I'm not sure if that is only for
lubricating drops or if that also works for prescriptions. V

It does.
Also, the eye cup, basically a funnel works well in terms of a bigger
target. The dropper inserts into the little end of the funnel and the
cup goes over the eye.
Excellent tip on practicing with a demo bottle.

Hi,

I always ask the farmacy for an extra eye-drop bottle so I can fill it
with water and practice on the back of my hand before I do the real
thing in an eye. Then I use the bottle and figure out how hard I have
to squeeze for one drop. As you probably know, Eyedrops sting a little
when they go in, so I try to hold the child's head still, or tell them
to do it themselves if they're old enough to understand and follow
instructions. Babies are easy because you can hold them still but it's
not so easy with a squirming toddler who doesn't understand why it
hurts.

Good luck and hope this helps,

Tammy

What do you all use to administer eyedrops, speciffically to know whena
drop comes out?

Thanks much.
