Congrats to you and your family. I am glad to hear for someone in the
neighborhood. I am a volunteer for Mentoring Moms. I am a mentor to a
young woman who is blind with a sighted child. I am not blind myself but am
a parent of a special adult daughter with Down Syndrome. have sent you a
resource to Hadley School for the blind. They offer parenting classes. I
just signed up my mentee. Lupe. She is waiting for the materials to arrive
for her course which is the second parenting course, ages 1-5 years old. It
sound like a terrific source of information.
Good luck. Parenting is the most wonderful experience.
