[blparent] BL Parent: did, or does your child do this

Normaly it's a nightly accurence, at 4 each night.
He tells me that his blankey has walked away, and his dolphin won't bring it
back.
He has a spongebob blanket that was stolen at Day-care, and we bought him a
new one, the same as his old... and it's just not the same he says.
We rolled it in dirt, and watched it with his laundry soap, so he can have
his scent, but still, he says... "Not his blankey."

\his Dolphin, he lost in a fire like 2 in a half months ago, and we can't
find another.
He got it from the DR. when he went to the emergency room to have 3 stitches
put inwhen, he split his forhead... it was a life-size dolphin, wich he
slept with everynight.
He says Foo-Foo his dolphin is scared.
I honestly believe that's when his journey of night terrors kicked in.
I feel aweful, because I can't find it again!

How often a week do the night terrors take place?  Can you get him ot tell 
you what the dreams are about?

I never had that problem of undressing, however a friend's son did do that.
I think they would scold him and put his clothes back on.  At any rate he is
now 13 and wears clothes!  My oldest son had troubles with what they called
night terrors, the screaming.  I would allow him to get in bed with me some,
and I would also put him back in his bed and lie down with him until he
returned to sleep.

I have a couple of questions. sorry, \





1 does your child remove his/her underware at night?

I can put Corban down for nap-time/or night-time, either in a pullup, or
Underware since he was like 12 ½ months when we started potty training!...

He just turned 2 October 14th, and this new thing started a week before.

He wants to sleep naked.he'll remove his undergarments, and pajamas. but,
wil stay dry all night.

I just don't want him to get into that habbet.

People told me to talk to my pedetritian, but what can she do. tell me to
superglue clothing on him?



2 Did your child ever wake up, screaming/crying uncontrollably?

Recently 2 months ago, Corban started waking, and screaming/crying
uncontrolabley, and has no intrest in going back to sleep?

Many people say, that I should give him a sleep aid. such as a childs
ambion, or something to help him sleep.

I disagree!...

I'v talked to my pedetritian, and she suggested a minor sleep-aid, and we
said no.way!

We went with ur better judgement. and just comfort him, I'v noticed, he
settles if he climbs into my bed. but, I don't want to get that habbet
started.
