[blparent] finding time

I am a nice mom and my mom was nice to me. For the last 5 years, K through 4th, gab always had to take the bus to and fro, rain or snow, we just didn't have a choice. If she forgot something, that was that. I am glad that I can help out now that my husband is unemployed. Funny way to look at our job status. It is nice to feel special now and then. Gab's friends, always have had the opportunity for a ride or someone to bring them something, but since I can't drive and dad was too far away at work, we had to suffer. I don't do it all the time, but she worked for hours on that math Sunday morning and I wanted her to get full credit. V

Wow you are nice, my mom, and my friend who is like my mom neither of them would bring things to me. If I forgot them then I had no choice but to suffer the consequences for forgetting things I was responsible for remembering. Now I did just remember that your daughter has the raging teacher so maybe she needed to be saved, but I think I mostly agree with my parents ways on this one.
Hope she comes back to normal soon.

And my daughter is going to lose her head somewhere. Good thing it is attached. After we took her to school this morning, I was straightening out the livingroom, and there on the floor under the coffee table was her math book with the homework she did this weekend. It's a good thing my husband is home. Good grief. Sheesh! And moody, she has been. V

I told him tonight, that he was either heading for military school or the graveyard! I was joking with him of course, but he really can be so moody.

My daughter is 11 and is showing the signs. Oh heaven help us. One thing, she isn't interested in boys at all yet and thinks those who are, are quite silly.

Well that is until puberty starts! 13 is hard, my son fluctuates between
wanting to be petted and telling me to buzz off!

The best time is right after bed time, or, if you're disciplined/crazy, before he gets up in the morning. Also, when things get frustrating, you can console your self with the knowledge that things will likely get much better as he gets older.
Good luck.
