[blparent] changing toddlers diaper

Hi.  I've tried the changing standing up method and it's not working so well for me either.  But lately, Michael hates being on the changing table.  Every time I lay him down there to change him, he cries.  He won't stand still for any length of time so it's hard to line the diaper up.  He's 18.5 months!  I just can't believe how time flies.

Hey this is great conversation!

I've encountered a few situations where there are no changing tables in bathrooms and I have to change Erik on a bench, chair, table, etc.
He's only five and a half months and is getting really big so chairs are out of the quesiton lately. I know when he is able to stand I can change him while standing. Youme and Terri, two amazing mommas have demonstrated the standing up method of changing diapers. I'll have to work on it since things can get pretty wet and sprinkly with a boy.

Any other suggestions?
