I'm not sure as the info changes rapidly on the board or at least on the
demonstration I saw. It had something to do with eye hand cooordination.
Who's worry about it, I thought they were just discussing the fact that it
even exists. These boards are quite interesting, but not blind friendly at
all. It is like you see a flash and then it's gone and then you might hear
"light" but it doesn't exist any more. See what I mean. V

Wouldn't voice over ssolve this problem? Also, the student will need to
make the teacher aware of what they need him/her to do, i.e. when a change
is made I need to know about it. Not difficult to do and is a skill they'll
be using as an adult
Agree with Bob, blind kids will figure out a solution. Isn't worrying about
it unproductive?

One useful feature of a smartboard is that if it is set up to print, a
Tiger embosser can be used to create a raised diagram of what is on the
board. Of course, the quality of the output depends on what's on the board.
